We offer the following Land Levelling services:

• Survey and design service, where we would survey your field, enter the results into the computer and offer options to suit agreed design parameters. The results of this can either be offered as cut and fill sheets, or even downloaded on to PCMCIA cards. This service can be used as a before and after service to manage earth moving contractors. ie. You only pay for the volume moved correctly!
• We can supply and train personnel to design layouts, train machine operators.
• Survey for budget benefit purposes.
• In association with contractors supply a contract levelling service.
• Establish an in-house land levelling operation for the customer, including the specification, procurement, supply, delivery and installation of a complete system.
• A joint venture option to manage your equipment on a pay by results basis.

Laser control systems
The basis of our service is Spectra Physics equipment and depending on the degree of sophistication required, a number of options on the survey and design side. For a fully automated control system we would recommend the Spectra Physics Geostar system a well proven system that uses GPS positioning for your X,Y co-ordinates and a Laser for your Z, co-ordinate. The big advantage of this system is the simple setting out and that the machine keeps on grade where ever it is in the field, even if the operator moves off the plane he was working on. The other end of the scale is a Transmitter and grade eye light system that just shows where the receiver is in relation to the laser plane.

We supply and install laser control systems and have the experience to select the equipment to ensure an efficient operation. We train operators and offer ongoing management contracts. Contact us for more details and an analysis of your requirements.

Other Benefits of Laser Controlled Equipment

1. Depth and slope control on excavators trenching for pipe laying 20% increase in production results from the use of lasers.
2. Blade control on graders to ensure that tail drains are cut to grade saving on machine time and survey costs.
3. As reference plane on the auger head of floating dam dredge to ensure the depth of cleaning was kept constant as the depth decreased.
4. For setting out bases for infield canals and bench marks, the advantage being that the surveyor can be at the relevant point not relying a staff man to be in the right place.
